We have fourteen doctors across twelve specialities, including general medicine, paediatrics, gynaecology and obstetrics, nephrology, psychiatry, cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, and musculoskeletal and pain medicine. The full list, with each doctor's qualifications, speciality and weekly schedule, is available on the Doctors & Schedule page, where you may also filter by speciality.
Yes. Muktodhara Doctors' Clinic in Jadavpur has doctors listed as Paediatrician / Child Specialist on the Doctors & Schedule page, where their qualifications and consulting days are shown. Routine childhood vaccination is also available at the clinic.
Yes. Dr. Meenakshi Karan, a Gynaecologist and Obstetrician (MD (Obstetrics and Gynaecology), DNB, FNB (Reproductive Medicine)), consults at Muktodhara Doctors' Clinic in Jadavpur, Kolkata (Monday, Wednesday & Saturday: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM). Gynaecology and obstetrics (also spelled gynecology) at the clinic covers women's health concerns, including menstrual and hormonal problems, care before and during pregnancy, and fertility concerns. The current schedule is on the Doctors & Schedule page, where you may also book an appointment.
Yes. An Interventional Cardiologist consults at the clinic. The doctor's schedule, qualifications and available appointment times are shown on the Doctors & Schedule page.
Yes. A Nephrologist and Renal Transplant Physician consults at the clinic. Consulting hours and booking details are available on the Doctors & Schedule page.
Yes. Muktodhara has doctors listed as Psychiatrist and De-addiction Specialist. Their schedules and booking details are available on the Doctors & Schedule page.
Yes. The Doctors & Schedule page includes a symptom search for patients who are unsure which specialist to consult. Describe your concern in everyday terms, such as fever, chest pain, a child's illness or joint pain, and it will direct you to the appropriate speciality. You do not need to know the medical term. As a general guide, chest pain is seen by a cardiologist, breathlessness by a pulmonologist (chest specialist), headache and numbness by a neurologist, kidney and urine problems by a nephrologist, a child's illness by a paediatrician, joint and back pain by a pain physician, anxiety and low mood by a psychiatrist, and pregnancy and women's health by a gynaecologist. Fever, cough and cold, and stomach pain are usually seen first by a general physician. Each of these has a patient guide on this website, which also explains when to seek emergency care.
A general physician is the usual first doctor to see for fever, cough and cold, or stomach pain in an adult. Muktodhara has general physicians in General Medicine, and their consulting days are on the Doctors & Schedule page. A child with any of these is usually seen by a paediatrician (pediatrician / child specialist). A cough that will not settle, or that comes with wheezing or breathlessness, may call for a chest specialist (pulmonologist), and pain low in the abdomen in a woman may be assessed by a gynaecologist (gynecologist). Our patient guides on fever, cough and cold, and stomach pain explain when to see a doctor sooner. For a high fever with a stiff neck or a rash that does not fade, severe breathlessness, or sudden severe stomach pain, please call 108 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Yes. The clinic's name is spelled Muktodhara, and it is also commonly written Muktadhara. Both refer to Muktodhara Doctors' Clinic, at 9A Central Park Road, Central Park, Jadavpur, Kolkata – 700 032. In Bengali the name is written মুক্তধারা ডক্টরস ক্লিনিক.
Select "Book an Appointment" anywhere on this website to open the booking form. Choose a service, a doctor where the service requires one (Consultation and Teleconsultation do; Pathology, Vaccination and Home visits do not), and a preferred date and time, then submit your request. Please note that this is a request rather than an immediate confirmation: our reception team will call you the same day to confirm the appointment, and you will receive a reference code to quote should you call us first.
Yes. You are welcome to book in advance through this website or by telephone, or to walk in during opening hours: Monday to Saturday, mornings 9:00–1:00 and evenings 4:00–9:00, and Sunday mornings 9:00–1:00. If you wish to see a particular doctor, we recommend booking in advance, as not every doctor consults every day. Please check that doctor's schedule on the Doctors & Schedule page, or call us before you travel.
Your request is recorded and our reception team will call you the same day to confirm it. This is a personal call from the clinic, not an automated booking. You will receive a reference code as soon as you submit the request. Should you telephone the clinic before we reach you, please quote this code so that our staff can locate your request promptly.
Yes. A teleconsultation is booked with the same doctor you would see at the clinic, from our full list of doctors across all twelve specialities. It is well suited to a follow-up or a review of reports, rather than the first assessment of a new symptom.
Yes. Home visits are available across Kolkata, not only in Jadavpur, by prior appointment and subject to availability, for patients who are unable to travel to the clinic easily: for example, while recovering from a procedure, living with limited mobility, or requiring a routine check that does not need the clinic's equipment.
Yes. Pathology sample collection is available both at the clinic and at home. The treating doctor decides which tests are required on the basis of the clinical assessment, and the results are reviewed with that doctor rather than simply handed over.
Yes, on request. Pathology sample collection at Muktodhara Doctors' Clinic is available at the clinic, at 9A Central Park Road in Jadavpur, and at home. The treating doctor decides which tests are required, so tests are not offered as standalone packages, and the results are reviewed with that doctor. To arrange a home collection, choose Pathology on the booking form or call the clinic, and our reception team will confirm the arrangements with you, including whether we can collect from your address.
Yes. Muktodhara provides routine immunisation for both children and adults, and updates your vaccination card at every visit, so that there is a clear record of the vaccines given and those next due.
We accept cash, UPI (including GPay, PhonePe and similar apps) and cards.
